Character Description

Who is Nate Taylor?

Nate Taylor was a pretty boy with a self-proclaimed pedestal that stood at least ten stories high. His silver spoon hadn’t parted with him since the day he was born and it protruded so obviously from his mouth, it could be seen a mile away. I met him one day, I corrected him because he called me the wrong name. He would always reply the same, “I will remember to try to remember”. What everyone admired most about him was the same thing we all hated about him, his ability to sit still in silence for almost a full minute. As a womanizer, it was rumored he had a least 4 known STDs. Taylor was tall, at least 6’2’’ with a face incredibly similar to Brad Pitt’s. Usually, when a woman fell under his “spell” we didn’t blame her, we just counted down the days, which never went longer than a week, and then she’d later join our anti-Nate group. Although Nate was this way, he was rich and very smart. It was a lot to say for someone with his personality and demeanor. He attended Harvard and passed without ever trying. He didn’t even really have to since mommy and daddy pretty much bought his GPA. He was a popular frat brother and partied like life its self-was a complete joke. He had one life to live, but apparently, he hadn’t realized. He was regularly inappropriate and only polite to his reflection, or to a woman until after she had relinquished her underwear. He was often seen clean cut and classy and fitting snug into that rich, snobby kid stereotype everyone loved for all the wrong reasons. He embodied that archetype in most teenage films because really, that was Nate’s life… a fucking high school marathon on replay. Without any prior knowledge, you knew he was prom king, football captain, and quarterback, and that the teachers gave him undeserved A’s in exchange for a triumph on the field. It all led to an egotistical, narcissistic bastard of a person. It was inevitable to get pissed off at him. If you didn’t, respect, you deserve it. And although he had the capability to work his way to the very top of the company, he hadn’t, but he was there. All thanks to dad, who died and left the company in his son’s name. He was an only child and never worked a day in his life. He took everything and everyone for granted. I kind of admire him for it, I don’t know too many people who couldn’t give two fucks about anything, yet be so great at it. He was pretty bad ass. I hated to love him.
